Welcome to Morocco! Upon your arrival in Casablanca, you will be transferred to your accommodation. Take a stroll along the Corniche, the beach promenade, to visit the Hassan II Mosque, which is the largest mosque in Morocco. If you didn’t have time to visit the economic capital of Morocco upon your arrival, you will now have the opportunity to explore Casablanca’s highlights, including the Hassan II Mosque, Mohammed V Square, and the Habous district. Afterward, you will head out from Casablanca to the capital city of Morocco, Rabat. Upon arrival, your first stop will be the impressive Kasbah of the Udayas, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, you will visit the iconic Hassan Tower and the adjacent Mausoleum of Mohammed V. At the end of the day, our tour guide will accompany you to your accommodations.

Our adventure begins with a picturesque road trip from Fes to Merzouga, unveiling awe-inspiring mountainous landscapes and introducing us to charming small towns, ancient ruins, small kasbahs, and authentic Berber villages, among other captivating attractions. Our initial destination is the town of Ifrane, often referred to as the « Switzerland of Morocco, » for its pristine environment. Here, we will explore both the old and modern parts of Ifrane, immersing ourselves in its unique charm. Continuing our journey, we will pass through Moroccan villages, encounter small kasbahs, and be mesmerized by the beauty of the mountainous landscapes as we make our way towards Azrou. In Azrou, we will have the opportunity to visit the renowned cedar forest, known for its friendly monkey inhabitants. Interacting with and feeding these playful creatures will surely be a delightful experience. Afterward, we will embark on an exhilarating drive to the town of Midelt, where we will pause for a delightful lunch before proceeding to our final destination. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you’ll meet your camel and embark on a trek across the sand dunes. Reach the top of a nearby dune to witness a breathtaking desert sunset. Return to your Bedouin-style tent for dinner and gather around a campfire under the starry sky. In the Sahara Desert, a spectacular spectacle awaits those who are fascinated by stargazing.

This morning, you'll want to be sure to get up early to watch the sun rise over the dunes. Grab some coffee and climb up the nearest dune and watch as the sun sets the sand aflame. After this near-transcendental experience, you’ll have breakfast at camp and prepare for your day and when you are ready, you’ll take your camel's back to the Kasbah on the edge of the dunes. (Note: A 4x4 transfers is available if you prefer). From here, you’ll head back towards the
mountains, but first you'll stop at a few interesting stops in the desert region. Your first stop will be Khamlia, a village comprised of Gnaoua musicians. You'll have tea and a short concert before moving on to the next stop : a small fossil museum that also provides Moroccan fossilsNext, you'll stop to visit the ancient irrigation system that once brought water to the desert from the distant SaghroMountains. After this, you’ll head to the oasis town of Tinghir
where you will visit nearby Todgha Gorge where you will walk through the most impressive part of the canyon. After this, you’ll head to your accommodations located in the heart of the Valley of Dades.

After breakfast, you will take the road of 1000 Kasbahs on your way to the city of Skoura and Ouarzazate, also known as the “ Hollywood of Morocco”. After passing through Ouarzazate you will make the short drive to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou. You’ll
have a chance to explore this impressive ksar, before traveling over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizin’Tichka path, reaching an altitude of nearly 7500 feet above sea level. There will be plenty of stops for tea and photographs as you take in the breathtaking vistas before arriving in the evening to Marrakech.
